POLINEMA offers Joint Degree Programs to high school graduates and POLINEMA students conducted through a hybrid Joint Degree Program socialization on Monday, July 17, 2023, at the 8th floor Auditorium of Civil Engineering.
The socialization event was attended by the Vice Director IV for Planning and Cooperation, academic team, and international affairs team.
The study programs offered in this Joint Degree Program are D-IV Informatics Engineering, D-IV Construction Engineering Management, D-IV Digital Telecommunication Network, D-IV Industrial Chemical Technology, D-IV Production and Maintenance Mechanical Engineering, D-IV Electronic Automotive Engineering, D-IV Management Accounting, D-IV Marketing Management, and D-IV Tourism Business.
Vice Director IV for Planning and Cooperation, Prof. Ratih Indri Hapsari, ST., MT., Ph.D., mentioned that POLINEMA has been implementing this Joint Degree program for five years in collaboration with partner campuses in Malaysia and China, namely Management and Science University (MSU) Malaysia, Shenyang Jianzu University (SJU) China, Shandong University of Science and Technology (SDUST) China, and Shenyang Aerospace University (SAU) China.
“Currently, there have been two cohorts that graduated with double degrees, and many POLINEMA students are actively participating in the Joint Degree program. It is hoped that this activity can communicate the benefits of the Joint Degree program offered to prospective students,” said the Vice Director IV.
Hilda Cahyani, SS., M.Pd., Ph.D., from the international affairs team, stated that this event aims to provide crucial information about POLINEMA’s Joint Degree program. This program offers students the opportunity to attend classes both at POLINEMA and at partner campuses abroad.
Ardian Wahyu Setiawan, Ed.D., from the academic team, mentioned that this program also provides opportunities for POLINEMA graduates to be accepted in the global job market.
“With dual degrees from POLINEMA and partner campuses abroad, Polinema graduates gain global recognition. Students in this program will experience studying and living abroad, expanding their international network,” he said.
In addition to presentations by the international affairs and academic teams, this socialization event also includes speakers who represent POLINEMA’s partner campuses in Malaysia and China.
