On Friday (19/5/2023), POLINEMA held a sharing session for the scholarship online and was attended by students of Marketing Management Diploma Program.

The sharing session was opened by the Vice Director I for Academic Affairs, Dr. Kurnia Ekasari, SE., MM., Ak., CA. and presented two speakers namely Hilda Cahyani, SS., M.Pd., Ph.D. and POLINEMA student who is an IISMA 2022 awardee at UPHF, Arliza Chairani Setiawan and hosted by Dr. Mariana Ulfah Hoesny, SS., M.Pd.
Deputy Director I, Dr. Kurnia Ekasari, SE, MM, Ak, CA, in her speech said that this activity was very beneficial for POLINEMA. It is hoped that POLINEMA students can take advantage of this scholarship opportunity to study at UPHF so as to gain insight and experience studying abroad.
Hilda Cahyani, SS, M.Pd., Ph.D. said that by studying abroad students will be exposed to European culture and gain project-based learning experience. “Financing this scholarship with a co-funding system, which is a partial or semi-independent scholarship, meaning that the source of scholarship funds is partly from the sending campus and partly from individuals with funding sources from parents,” she said.
Arliza Chairani Setiawan in her presentation entitled “Study Abroad in Northern France” shared information about the reasons for studying abroad and an overview of studying at UPHF.
UPHF is a multidisciplinary university in Valenciennes that has three main institutes: INSA (Sciences), ISH (Languages), and IUT (Technology). There are five campuses across Northern France with over 14,000 students and 160 departments. “The reasons for studying abroad include cultural experience, networking, global perspective, and career advancement. Lectures at UPHF use the Moodle system and the assessment system used is 0/20,” said Arliza.
